An enthusiast of travel, photography and motorsports, I try to capture a moment that deeply resonates with me. I consider myself an artist that paints with light and see taking the photograph as merely the first step in creating my art. The world is a canvas, light my inspiration.

Born in Africa, educated in France and England, I’ve travelled extensively, living in Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

Rising to the challenges of a new focus and a difficult economy, I redefined myself as an Artist expressing myself as a Photographer, Designer and Writer. It was not been easy – I love what I do.

Before Arriving to the US in 1996, I took a 2-year sabbatical to travel the world, touring South East Asia, Australia and the Pacific Rim. Highlights include trekking Mount Everest and the Annapurnas, spending time with the Mentawi shamans in the Indonesian rainforests of Siberut Island off the coast of Sumatra and sailing across the Pacific on a 37ft catamaran – a remarkable experience both in terms of insights and personal development.

During that time I became a SCUBA diver and qualified Dive Master, volunteering for research on Whale Sharks migrating along the Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia and diving in many of the world’s remotest sites. Interestingly, I did not own a camera during that trip, only buying a modest Kodak Instamatic for my Annapurna trek in Nepal – the photos are published on my personal site.
